Manage Naming Conventions

Rename

Pressing this button will rename all selected objects to whatever text is in the box to the left. Useful for Bulk renames. If your object already has an "_low" or "_high" suffix il will not be removed,

Rename Low, Rename High & Remove Suffix

Renames with the relevant suffix or removes the suffix.

Text to Remove

You may have some unwanted text or a typo in your name you can add text to the box here and remove that text for example ".001" at the end of an object. Useful for matching names to objects in the other collection.

Match Names

This is a one click solution for a very special use case. Sometimes you may first duplicate an set of objects before running the low and high poly operations on each set in this scenario Blender renames the objects with new numbers appended, Providing the corresponding objects are all in the same order in each LOW and HIGH collection this button will make the names from the HIGH collection conform to those in the LOW Collection. Useful for one click renaming everything at once when working with Blender
